- It's 110 degrees outside right now.
- I was in the pool at 7:30 a.m. and it already felt like bath water.
- I just brushed my teeth and had to run the water for about 5 minutes to get cool water
- My air conditioner has been running non-stop for about 2 1/2 hours. I'm trying to get the inside temp more than 30 degrees cooler than the outside temp. I'm going to hate my electric bill this month.
Remind me why I live in the desert?!

Just remember -- Lovely lovely lovely month of February. Keep repeating it "February, February, February . . . . "
Ugh, 110 is pretty hot already. At least you have a pool you can jump into and cool off a bit. Maybe you will have to resort to cold showers, or running through the sprinklers since the pool water is warm. Or just keep your freezer stocked with all of your favorite ice cream flavors (calories don't count when you just sweat them out). ;) And remember to stay hydrated!! Last summer more than one person came into the hospital where Jake is and died from being overheated. So drink up!
And also remember you have friends who live in "high places" - ha, ha! That means high desert places!! Great escapes whenever you'd like.
When you remember why you live here, call and let me know. On days like today, I also forget why we moved to Arizona...HOT, HOT, HOT!
Mercy! I don't know how you desert folks do it! I am melting here, and it is hovering at about 100! Pools are a must have. A/C too! Stay cool out there, and dream of winter!
Remember when our power went out yesterday and it took about 10 minutes for our house to feel like we were outside? Luckily it was only out for about 30 minutes! And I hate the hot water when I want to brush my teeth!
hmmm...can't relate. Today's high was 78, but by Sunday it will only be 73.
I wonder that same thing every second.
Yea, that's hot! But Corona isn';t much cooler. I was actually in the pool at 7:45 am today too!
Is returning to California sounding good? I say YES!
Funny as it sounds, I would still trade places with you, if I could afford it!!
Wow- that is crazy!!!!!!! And, here in Ohio, it has been cooler than usual- low 70's in July!!! So strange how weather can be so different from place to place!
Brett and I have been missing our friends and life in Las Vegas a little bit. Then on our way to Lake Powell we stopped in Vegas for gas and I was over it!!!
