Happy Day

I got to work yesterday and there was a gift bag on my desk.  I was surprised to find out it was "Administrative Professional Day."  (never heard of it!)  Anyway, it was fun to get a little gift and a thank you from our asst. principal.  A few minutes later, one of the teachers came up to the front office with cards for me and the other two gals in the office.  They were filled with many, many kinds words and thank you's AND a couple of gift cards.  Then about mid-morning, flowers were delivered to each of us (again from the teachers).  A little later, a parent brought us each a gift and a thank you for all we do.  A yummy chicken salad was delivered to us for our lunch hour.  And in the afternoon, a mom brought in a gift basket of snack foods for us all and another mom brought in cookies for us.  

Sure is nice to be appreciated.
