today is my 55th birthday
(I'm pretty brave to put my age up on the world wide web, huh?)
I started the day with a 3 mile run and then a 30 minute pool workout. It's 9:00 and I'm ready for my morning nap. Instead, I am going birthday shopping.
Grandma's have changed, haven't they? This is my grandma when she was my age.
In all fairness to Grandma S., I would look like this too if I didn't color my hair

Oh my goodness, Grandma probably was in her fifties in that picture! I would probably be that grey too if it wasn't for a little Loreal every month.

I've compared my mother and I at the same age so many times. She would never have done some of the stuff that I do at "this age".
