Katie as a "fancy lady" ( I think this is a year that something happened with costumes and we put this together at the last minute with what I had around the house.)
For all you Coronians...remember the great Pumpkin Patch over where Foothill Elementary is now? We have some great memories of picking pumpkins there.
Here is Jeff as a Teddy Bear
Michael as a Pirate

Katie as a ragdoll and Michael as a pirate
Michael as a cowboy
Since I've live in Arizona, I spend Halloween with my brother and sister-in-law. Their Halloween celebration has been getting bigger each year and I look forward to it. We eat homemade soup in pumpkin breadbowls and make home made donuts. The weather is perfect for eating outside and they invite anyone who wants to stop by for something to eat to come on over. Happy Halloween!

Lauri,
I loved your pics of the kids in their costumes! And yes, the pumpkin patch with their corn maze and hay bales, was always such a treat to look forward to. I miss those days. Nothing even remotely like that now.
Your hutch looks great. Now if you put some eyeball candy underneath that cloche, it will be perfect!!!
What a fun stroll down memory lane. Now I want to get out all the old pictures of my kids in costumes through the years...you were much more creative than I in putting costumes together. Just remember not to be mean to trick or treaters this year, or you may get another basket of muffins!
I loved all those costumes!! Your kids really love dressing up- I am noticing a trend here!!
Love that you can just come up with something on the spot- I am not like that- I have to know way ahead of time- my kids decided in August and we bought them then! Crazy, huh?
We had our ward trick or trunk on Friday, so I will be posting pics of that- my greatest costume accomplishment this year was doing Leah's hair in a semi up-do- she loved it and it looked interesting, to say the least.
I am anxious to see Katie's creations this year= she so got that wonderful talent from you!
Loved all of it! Wish we could hang out for halloween- maybe next year if we make it!
Your bakers rack looks FANTASTIC. For as much as I love Halloween, my decorations are pitiful.
On to the important stuff...I have no recollection of making that card costume. I was going to post about how that was one of my most embarrassing costumes of all time. I recall you and/or Cindy coming up with that one and talking me and JEssica into it. and since you were all on board, I reluctantly said OK. I recall being much more shy and reserved about speaking my mind at that age. I didn't want to disappoint you or JEssica by saying I didn't like that costume. I was SO embarrassed wearing that one to school. Funny how we have totally different memories of the same thing.
Both the nurse costume and the Rag doll costume were ADORABLE. See...you did get into costumes at one point (though you re-used much more than me.)
Your hutch is beautiful, and your costumes, incredible. You can imagine how my house was in the day. The vampire and pirate handed down from one boy to the next. Some years homemade, some years traded with my sister. Different time of life...wouldn't trade the memories!
Sure, I'll come to the party!! Just kidding- sounds fun though! Those were such fun pictures of the kids in their costumes!! :)
I love all the kids' costumes! So creative! I know where Katie gets it from!
I love it. I know where Katie gets her love of Halloween from and not to mention the costume making skills. I wish I could get more into it. I had no idea Katie didn't like the card costume. I really don't remember if I did or not. I think they look cute. I was probably just excited to dress like Katie.
