Instead, I got up early and went on a hike with my friends. After a rainy weekend, the desert was heavenly and the view was beautiful!
I came home and squeezed 100 more lemons...my freezer is filling up with lemon concentrate for Jeff and Olivia's wedding.
I went to visit the tax man. The good news is that the government is giving me back some of MY money that they've been holding all year long.
The rest of the weekend was equally productive. Yesterday I taught my Relief Society lesson. I really like teaching adults and we always have a good discussion together.
I also got a haircut and an oil change on Saturday.
It was so good to have time to get things done this weekend; I feel very productive. I forget what it is like to have free time...it has become a rare commodity this past year.

Isn't it crazy that a good weekend will include taxes, a hair cut and an oil change?
It really is nice to just cross things off a long "to do" list though.
The hike sounded great.
You "squeezed" a lot in!!! Glad you got a day off to do something for you!!
It really is a great feeling when you can get a lot of things done from your "to do" list. Reading about the lemons made me hungry for something with lemon. I miss having inexpensive lemons. Do you have a lemon tree?
Well let's see the haircut!!! I'm glad you had a good weekend to get things done. That's such a good feeling!
I'm dying to know about the lemons-I'll look back on former posts.
I knew Jeff was engaged but don't know when he's getting married...so, when? Also, I'm curious about the lemon concentrate, what are you going to do with it? I'm glad you're getting some money back from the government...lucky you!
I didn't think about any presidents either and I DID work that day.
BTW, you are welcome to still link to my DJ blog if you aren't bored to death with my DJ adventures yet but we DO have a family blog at http://clanwhipple.blogspot.com
I didn't realize you are teaching RS. Maybe if I had been more than once, I would know this! Looking forward to listening to you teach soon!
