Service with a Smile

Tonight, just as I was beginning to think about what I was going to eat for dinner, there was a knock at the door. A woman in the ward had a big pot of home made chicken noodle soup in her hands telling me she had brought me dinner. As delicious as it looked, I was thinking, "how am I ever going to eat that much?" She said, "go get a bowl" and she proceeded to dish up just one serving for me. She was making stops to several people from church until the pot was gone.
What a delightful, creative, and delicious idea!

That's so cool!!! Is it bad that I'm over here thinking about who it could have been? I already have 3 or 4 names in mind. But my list could be a mile long because the women in our ward are so incredible. We DO need to get together!

Hi there,
Nope, not tired of the melons one little bit. But I am sharing them with my family and friends too. Sent two home with Jake last night.
I will be sad when they are all gone! Next year, I will only plant the big ones!

That is such a cute idea and the soup looks delicious, made me want to rush to the store and buy the ingredients to make some...that is until I stepped outside where it was 105 degrees and decided to wait until Fall.
