I I didn't think I was interested but when the news reports started coming on while I was getting ready for work today, I was sucked right in! (You know you watched it too!!) I have watched Prince William grow up. I had to be there for his wedding.
And Kate Middleton is a beautiful girl and I wanted to see what she did for her wedding dress. She did not disappoint!
But someone should have helped these poor princesses get ready. Common girls...what were you thinking?

But then again...her Grandma was wearing a birthday cake on her head.
My favorite thought for the day came from a blog posting from a girl I used to teach in Young Women's.

Like you I was interested one bit until late last night when I suggested Craig DVR it for me. I might want to watch someday. Well, I watched it while drinking breakfast. So, there you go. I couldn't resist. I did zoom through it up to the actual wedding. Ahhh. It was a dream. I wish Kate had been allowed to smile more...at least I think she wasn't 'allowed' to smile. She was regal.
As for those hats you zeroed in on... I actually had to stop the fast forward when those gals came upon the scene. My first thought was, 'the ugly step-sisters were invited?" I don't mean to say I thought they were ugly or mean but their clothes fit the parts.
I was trying to get a lot of work done today so I didn't even turn on the tv. But I still heard about the pretzel hat by the end of the day.
Such a beautiful princess Kate is! I thought she looked modest and stunning...the Prince looked charming as well! I watched it, though since I had DVR'd it, it went much faster! Loved those hat comments- I totally agree!
I didnt even record the wedding because I didn't think I would have time to watch it. Now I REALLY wish I did. I caught some of the after wedding footage though, and yes Kate looked so beautiful. It was fun to see the hats and pomp.
