One of my goals for this year was to learn the functions of my camera. It is a simple Cannon point and shoot that I've had for a couple of years but I've never taken time to see what it does. As it turns out, it will take me way too much time to learn ALL of the functions but I did learn how to use the self -timer...See?
I also had no idea it took black and white and sepia pictures.
Now, if I could only learn to upload pictures to my digital photo frame. I worked on that for an hour before I gave up.
Anyway, I'm bored now...I HATE reading functional text so it will probably be two more years before I learn any other functions but I will be having fun with the ones I learned today.

I need a new point and shoot camera, and I am looking at the Canon or Nikon- the cheapest one!! They both have fun features like the black and white and sepia- but truly, I have my Picasa software that does that once you upload it, so I don't know if I really care!
I have to do more research!
But what I really want is a SLR camera- too bad a house comes first!!

Well, you took some great photos of yourself! Cute. I have learned a lot about my cameras recently, but the self timer is one function I still don't know how to do. Way to go.
Golly, I wonder what my camera does. The only thing I've tried is point and shoot! I was ecstatic when I learned how to transfer the pictures from my camera to my computer. I felt like a real tech-y! You've inspired me to do a little research. Thanks
I want to take pictures where the person is in focus, but the background is not. I'll have to take inspiration from you and actually read the manual. Do you feel super smart today? you should.
