Shine on!

You're going to thank me for this one.

I've been noticing that when I take my glasses out of the dishwasher, they are covered with hard water spots. They were getting worse by the day....there was such a disgusting film on the glasses, I was ready to throw away all of my glasses and start over. Until I discovered this miracle product:

LEMI SHINE

I ran a load of all of my glasses and goblets today and could hardly wait for the cycle to finish. I was amazed at how sparkly they looked when they came out...just like new.

I hear that a ban on phosphates in dishwasher detergent went into effect last year and what that means for you and me is dirty dishes. So if you're having the same problem I was having, this product is for you. And no, they are not paying me to advertise for them...this is a free service

You're welcome.

For those of you who are asking...this can be found in most grocery stores. I found it at Walmart. I hear it flies off the shelf almost as quickly as they stock it.

2 of my daughters have told me about this product, giving it the same review. Stater Bros. doesn't carry it. I will have to branch out in search of the miracle.

You know what else works? Vinegar! I'll put a little bit in every once in a while and it works wonders!

Wow - thanks for the information!! We're going to go out and find this product. I noticed that when I lived in Phoenix it was hard to keep glasses looking nice.

I have used both this product and vinegar. Both things were recommended to clean the stainless steel inside of our dishwasher and both also work lovely on the glasswear. I haven't actually used either thing for quite a while, so thanks for reminding me that I really need to do this again. You should really ask the Lemi Shine product for a commission....

I've heard of this stuff!
My friend in Utah was having the same problem. I haven't had it happen here yet. I wonder if it has to do with the water?

Every time I am in Target I see that yellow sweater! I hope you found yours! :)

Lemi Shine is the secret for living in the southwest! We can't live without it... Both our stays in TX and now NM have found it a necessary part of dishes, plus the vinegar. They're good about stocking it here (they put up like 40 huge boxes of it, but when it's out I'm in crisis mode, lol. We always have at least one extra on hand now! Glad you found that lovely gem :-)

Take a 1/4 cup of vinegar pour it in a cup and placed on the bottom rack of your dishwasher and you will see the same miracle occur! I've been doing it for years, recommended to me by my dishwasher repairman.

Clever! I'm going to try it! My dishes always look dirty still after a wash!

I have used it for years and LOVE it. However, you just use a little along with your regular dish washer detergent. I found out that while I was gone for two weeks, that Lemi Shine was used at our home in place of regular detergent. It wasn't meant to be used that way. The rest of the family is now educated about that and I can leave knowing the dishes will be sparkling clean while I am gone. (This is the year of new grandbabies so I am gone a alot this summer.)
