The time has come to down-size. Seriously, what do I need a big car for these days? That realization came to me one day when I was driving and made a lane change. As I glanced over my shoulder like I always do, I saw 6 empty seats in the car. I knew it was time.
Jeff is my car shopping buddy. He has helped my buy my last three cars. It was especially funny when he was 15 years old and went with me to buy my first car after Kevin died. After a few comments, the salesman stopped talking to me and started negotiating with Jeff. He got me a smoking deall and I've trusted him ever since.
Once again, he did the research and then took me car shopping a few days ago. I don't even have to deal with the salesmen...Jeff takes over and makes my deal.
Here is what I brought home:
It's a Nissan Juke...a great little car, great gas mileage, very sporty and fun to drive with push button start (no key) and a sun roof. I'm having a lot of fun in it. Now I need to make a road trip.

Hey, cute new car, Lauri. One of my most vivid memories of you and Kevin was one day I had come over to your house for some reason (in Corona 1st Ward) and as I was leaving, you and Kevin were going someplace and he was pulling your new car out of the garage. It was red and truly one of the most beautiful cars I had seen to date. I don't know what kind it was but I seem to remember it being a Nissan, but I'm not sure. I loved it though. Jeff has obviously inherited his good taste in cars. Lucky YOU!
