I'm getting quite proficient taking my own picture...got a little camera crazy! Anyway, I got new spectacles this week. I made Jeff help me pick them out and I think he did pretty well. Are we seeing a Benson trend here?

Notice we all have the same kind of glasses.
Michael, however, has perfect eyesight so he doesn't need them. (I realized that I have very few pictures of Michael on my computer...this is from last year).

Anyway, it's nice to be able to see again. When I went in, I expressed that something might be wrong because my eyes seemed to be getting worse very quickly. I was told there was nothing wrong...it was due to "maturation." It took me a second to remember what that word means. Oh yeah, I'm getting old!

Don't you worry, Michael will reach his "maturation" soon enough too.
With your matching glasses, maybe you can get together for family events wearing matchy-matchy clothes too! Now THAT would be a trend.
btw, the glasses look great on you.
Great glasses! Youth producing for sure! You and your kids have always had great style. I am due for my eye exam, and now that my reading focus is getting bad, probably looking at bifocals...maturation of the eyes at its best
Your family should model glasses- seriously- there aren't that many people who can pull glasses off as well as you all do- those are great looking and I love how trendy they are! Glad they help you see too, of course~!
Love the new glasses! I think I'm about due for an eye exam... my last one was, oh wait, never. I used to think I had perfect eye sight until I tried on my sister-in-laws glasses and it was so much clearer!
I have always thought of myself as a trendsetter... If only I could do it beyond the fam...
Yeah...thanks Jeff...it was all you.
They look very cute mom! I'm glad to see they're finally making bifocals in cuter styles.
Wow, you look great. The first thing that popped into my mind when I saw the collage was that I see where Katie gets her cute expressions. :) I love getting updated prescriptions. That bit of difference seems to make everything in life prettier.
And by the way, is Michael holding Reid or does his child look just like him? I'll check back to see, I'm dying to know. Thanks.
Autumn, yep, that's Reid when all of the family was home last summer. Reid has grown up this year, hasn't he?
in response to your visit to my blog...I tried to download a Small world pic, but it kept freezing up on me. Thought that would be cute. As far as your old beau....man did you choose right with Kevin!! I'll tell you more about that sometime. Good thing we can get the inspiration we need for the right thing to happen. Thank the Lord for our great guys!
Like mother, like daughter, like son! :) That is pretty funny- I have always thought you and Katie looked SOOO much alike and now even more. At least Katie knows what she will look like 20ish years from now (which is still gorgeous!)
You all look great in those glasses! :)
I don't look anything like my mom but a lot like my dad. What does that say for what I will look like? A little scary....
