Today is Jeff's 24th birthday. Yep, September is a busy month for our family with 2 birthdays in 3 days. I think sometimes Jeff got gypped because I was all partied out by the time his birthday came around.
Jeff came in to the world at 3:40 AM on September 10, 1984. He was by far my biggest baby
9 lb. 15 1/2 oz) and he took the longest to get here ...3 hours (I know I shouldn't complain).
By the time Jeff was 3, he was debating about politics, educational standards, the economy, and the budget deficit.
As Jeff was trying to discover who he was, he went through many phases.There was the cowboy phase
Thanks to an older sister who liked to dress him up, he had gender identity issues
For a while, he sailed the high seas as a pirate RRRrrrrr!

A Gangsta
A superhero...one of the AquaBats (what is it with my kids and superheroes?)
And then he reverted back to his early childhood for a short period of time
This is the Jeffrey we all know and love
Jeff and I have shared a special relationship because of the things we've experienced together. He has been a strength to me through some very difficult times. Happy Birthday Jeff. I love you!

I've always loved the picture of Jeff in the wagon. I love that Jeff is not afraid to have a good time...ever.

Happy Birthday Jeff (or Jeffrey). I love the picture in the wagon too. I'll bet many a young man has a picture of big sister dressing him up in fancy clothes at some point. Jeff is just lucky enough to have a mom that will post it!

I don't think I will ever look at another Radio Flyer wagon the same again. This was fantastic! Thanks for making sure I was able to share in the "celebration". Happy Birthday Jeff!
Wow- you were busy in September with all the parties and superheroes! I loved those pictures- and even though I have never met him, I feel like I know him just from your posts and Katie's. Hope he has a great birthday!

I have never met him but I LOVE the pictures and the narration. I bet he is just "thrilled" about the picture of him in a dress. That is hilarious! Love the 1984 hair style too! Happy Birthday Jeff! :)
